AL-ISHLAH welcomes studies conducted in early childhood, primary, secondary, vocational, higher, non-formal, community, and lifelong education settings.

OUT OF SCOPE:

To maintain a clear academic identity, AL-ISHLAH: Jurnal Pendidikan does not normally consider manuscripts in which education is merely used as a research setting, source of participants, or institutional context without a substantive contribution to educational research, theory, policy, or practice.

Manuscripts primarily focused on the following areas are generally considered outside the journal's scope unless they address a clearly defined educational research question:

general psychology;
business and management;
economics;
public administration;
pure linguistics;
religious studies without an educational dimension;
sociology unrelated to education;
health and medical sciences;
engineering;
environmental sciences;
information systems unrelated to teaching and learning.

The use of teachers, students, or educational institutions as research participants does not automatically make a manuscript suitable for the journal. Manuscripts must demonstrate a direct and meaningful contribution to educational scholarship.
